Toronto Kinbaku Salon Takeover for Pride

Hey folks. We’re Ivy and Nik, part of a small group of friends who have met through events at Toronto Kinbaku Salon. Just like last year, for Pride we wanted to take things up a notch and take over the space for a celebration of all things gay!

This time we are running a daytime party so you can get all the beauty sleep needed for the Pride celebrations. Saying that, we are keeping the atmosphere intimate, without overpowering music or bright sunlight 😊

The capacity of the venue is limited so we want to keep the vibe towards gentle fun with playful interactions, a performance or two from local favorites and a lot of “let’s get to know each otherness’!

There will be a chance to connect with the community, public scenes for curious kinksters to observe, and dedicated time for play. Activities will be announced on @Untangled.Toronto

Arrival window from 2PM-3PM (hard cut-off) if for some reason you can't arrive within the time slot please let us know over DMs on instagram or email before the day of, and we will try to accommodate.

This is a queer forward event and people of all genders, and sexual orientations are welcome

THE SPACE

THANK YOU to the team at Toronto Kinbaku Salon for making their space available to the Queer community during Pride. The salon is a private studio located up a flight of stairs with an all gender washroom on site. A designated quite zone will be available for anyone who wants to chill away from the main area. The tatami space has a range of hard points and hashiras for all levels of play. The salon has a couple of rules which we ask you to adhere to so that we can be invited back: so please keep your undies on, and absolutely no liquids on the tatami.

IMPORTANT STUFF

• Limited to folks aged 19 and over.
• BYO drinks (and cup, to help keep our planet green) but please keep an eye on your drinking so that all things stay consensual. Our DMs expect you to maintain a safe level of consumption if you intend to play.
• Untangled is a mask friendly event. If you’ve been exposed to Covid, or feel unwell, please stay at home. Refunds are available in this instance.
• Affirmative consent is mandatory for all play. Please respectfully approach all attendees, (even if you have engaged before) and do not make assumptions around their interest in social interaction or play with you. We encourage negotiation ahead of all scenes and will be available on the night should you be new, or need a refresh on respectful play.
• Untangled Toronto has a zero-tolerance policy against racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, misogyny, and other forms of hate. Please come with an attitude of respect for all humans.
• Photos are welcome at the event. Please ensure everyone in the frame verbally consents to the picture being taken and posted.
• What to wear? Express yourself - anything goes as long as genitals are covered. Be it casual, fetish wear or lingerie!
